Wasatch Roasting Company Coffee Roastery & Specialty Shop - Created to Elevate Your Multisensory Coffee Experience ☕️✨ Here, we proudly roast and brew our coffee for everyone to enjoy.

Since the early days of the Blackford’s garage, we’ve now expanded into a beautiful shop in downtown Ogden, UT. Feel free to take a step into the back of our shop and talk to our roaster, or simply sit and enjoy the heavenly scent of freshly roasted coffee. You can find us on Grant Ave, just off of Historic 25th Avenue and next door to our neighbors at the Copper Nickel. As a point of principle, w

e also strive to be as involved as possible in our local community. Everything you find in our store was crafted by local artists and artisans. We feature a new artist each month on our walls as a part of the Ogden Art Stroll, and have opened an Aerosol Art Gallery on our outdoor patio area. We also participate in the Ogden Farmers Market, the Twilight Concert Series, and numerous other community events on a regular basis. “Buy Local” is more than a slogan to us. It’s a way of life! This Tuesday, June 9, catch The Black Keys with opener Fai Laci! Gates open at 5:00 PM.

Did you know we have toast options that pair perfectly with our drinks!

All made on homemade sourdough bread

✨ Pear & Prosciutto: Sourdough bread, goat cheese spread, prosciutto, arugula, pear compote and a hot honey drizzle. Vegan options available!
✨ Avocado Caprese: Sourdough toast topped with smashed avocado, mozzarella,  tomato, and balsamic reduction. 
✨ Gravlax: House-cured Pacific Coho & King salmon and cream cheese layered over sourdough toast. Topped with pickled red onions, briny capers, and dill.
✨ Whipped maple Pecan: Sourdough topped with whipped mascarpone, maple-coated pecans,  pure maple syrup, and cinnamon. 
✨ Goat Cheese & Preserves Sourdough topped with a creamy layer of tangy goat cheese,  and local-made spicy fruit jellies.

This weeks coffee origin is Sumatra- Bener Meriah, Aceh!
Tasting notes: Orange zest, Tobaco, Clove 🍊🫶🏻

Koperasi Produsen Putra Tani Berkarya (KPPTB) is a cooperative founded in 2022 by the younger generation of farmers in the regions of Bener Meriah and Aceh Tengah (Central Aceh). Members live in or near nine villages in the area. Farms are traditionally passed down from generation to generation. The coop currently consists of around 708 farmers.

The Bener Meriah and Central Aceh regions are famous for producing Gayo coffee because of their cool climate, large hills, and volcanic soil. There is an active volcano in the area.

KPPTB has its own processing unit with a drying area, huller, suton, sorting room, and storage room for the beans. The coop collects fresh-picked red cherries from its farmer members and brings them to the unit to be processed. They work hard to maintain a high quality for each export.
