What’s all the buzz about? Evidently shifting our hours has caused quite the ruckus. Every year when our staff heads off island (to return to school) we change up our hours. This isn’t new. This has been happening for several years. So for those thinking “they’ve never done this before” — indeed, we have. For those saying “they can just work longer hours” — indeed, they do at their second (and sometimes third) jobs. And to those who have shared that we have utterly ruined their vacations — well shew. That’s a lot of pressure on one tiny coffee shop on a tiny island. Of course our goal is to never ruin anyone’s vacation but we are also well aware of our limitations. We also are committed to keeping our staff healthy and happy.
So, to that end we say—we are open everyday 7-12. The MiniBar opens in the afternoons with coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages. If you can’t abide by these changes we respectfully ask that you just drive on by. Cause in all honesty, we are thankful that we have enough staff to stay open every day!!
