🍷🇫🇷 One of those nights you don’t forget…

Our time at Domaine Les Carmel was so much more than a w**e tasting.

Sophie and Euric invited us into their home and welcomed us around their table for an incredible dinner made almost entirely from what surrounds them. Their biodynamic property isn’t just where they make w**e — it’s a way of life. 🌿🍇

And then came the wild part… literally. 🐗

Dinner included wild pig hunted locally, slow-cooked into the most incredible wild boar stew. Food from the land, w**e from the vines, and a table full of stories, laughter and family.

We got to spend time with their wonderful kids, Élise and Quentin, and see the beautiful rhythm of a family living and working together on their property.

Sophie is the face of Domaine Les Carmel, welcoming people in and sharing their story with the world. Euric is the w**emaker, quietly working his magic in the cellar and letting the land speak through the w**e.

This is why we travel for w**e.

Not just for what’s in the glass — but for the people, the places, the food, the stories and the moments that happen around the table and behind the bottles.

From Wisconsin to France, we’re incredibly grateful to have been welcomed into their home and even more grateful to represent their w**e ❤️

Domaine Les Carmel — thank you for letting us experience a little piece of your world.

🔮🍷 GYPSIES READ TEA LEAVES. WE READ W**E CRYSTALS. 🍷🔮
Every culture has its way of predicting the future.
Some read tea leaves.
Some read tarot cards.
We read the bottom of your w**e glass. 😎
And THIS little pile of glittering goodness? Those are tartaric crystals — aka “w**e diamonds.” 💎🍷
Before you start wondering if your w**e glass just had a tiny accident… relax. 😂 They’re not glass, not sugar, and definitely not a reason to send the bottle back.
They’re a completely natural phenomenon. Grapes naturally contain tartaric acid, and w**e contains potassium. When w**e gets cold, those two can combine and form crystals of potassium bitartrate, which eventually settle to the bottom of the bottle — or, as demonstrated here, the glass.
In other words…
The w**e is just shedding its jewelry. 💎😂
And what do these particular crystals tell us about your future?
🔮 You will drink w**e.
🔮 You will drink more w**e.
🔮 You will probably ask us what the hell is in the bottom of your glass.
🔮 And eventually… you will need another bottle.
THE CRYSTALS HAVE SPOKEN. 😂🍷

W**e Maniacs on the run again! 🇫🇷🍷 We’ve spent the last few days in the heart of Bordeaux, and somehow managed to pack an incredible amount into them. We kicked things off in Cap Ferret while being hosted by our dear friend and partner, Martin (owner of Chateau Seraphine and Clos Cantenac). Our group of 10, managed to enjoy a four-hour lunch, 80 oysters caught that morning, 40 prawns, 30 snails, 3 magnums, and 3 bottles. 🦪🍤🍾 Then it was back into Bordeaux for a needed nap then dinner. The next morning we had breakfast at the market before heading to Saint-Émilion for lunch and an incredible underground tour. We finished the day at Château Séréphine, where one of the most special parts of what we do came to life again—bringing our investors along to experience these places with us, not just tasting the w**es, but sitting around the table with the people behind them, sharing their home, their food, their stories, and their passion. Château Séréphine 🙌❤️🍷 Today we ventured to Château Le Puy, where minimal intervention, biodynamic farming, and letting the w**e become what it naturally wants to be really came to life. We also love the horses that till the vineyards. Both of these prestigious Chateaus are less about “making” w**e and more about "helping" the w**e by farming the grapes, caring for the vineyard, and getting out of the way enough to let their terrior and the vintage speak for themselves. Incredible food, unforgettable places, honest w**e, and the kind of relationships that make W**e Maniacs what it is. 🇫🇷❤️
We are tired and happy! Onward we go!

Fall is rolling in, and we’ve been in the kitchen causing a little trouble… 😈

Say hello to some NEW additions:

🍎 Fall Apple Salad — crisp, fresh & totally fall
🥪 Chicken Caesar Sandwich — Caesar salad said, “put me on bread.”
🍅 Caprese Burger — because tomatoes, mozzarella & basil belong on burgers too.
🧄 Black Garlic Wings — deep, savory, seriously addictive.
🔥 Nashville Hot Chicken Dip — hot, cheesy & bringing the heat.
🥃 Maple Bourbon Glazed Salmon — sweet, smoky & just a little boozy.
🐇 Confit Rabbit Quarter — for the adventurous Maniacs.
🐦 Pan Roasted Quail — small bird, BIG flavor.

And that's just the beginning. 👀

New season. New dishes. Same W**e Maniacs attitude. 🍷💜

Come hungry. Leave happy. Stay Maniac. 🤘🍷
