❤️ A Message to Our Jobu’s Family & Community ❤️

It is with heavy hearts that we share some unfortunate news. Early this morning, Jobu’s Tiki & Sushi Bar experienced a fire that caused significant damage to our restaurant. The OS fire department did an exceptional job containing the fire to the rear portion of the building and kitchen.

We are currently working to assess the full extent of the damage and determine our next steps to getting back in operation. Most importantly, none of our restaurant staff or bystanders were injured during this event. While there are still many unanswered questions, please know that we are doing everything in our power to evaluate the situation and find a path forward as quickly as possible.

Over the past five months, this community has welcomed us with open arms. The friendships we’ve made, the memories we’ve shared, and the incredible support we’ve received have meant more to us than we can put into words. We are truly grateful to everyone who has walked through our doors and helped make Jobu’s what it is today.

We ask for your patience as we navigate the days ahead. We will share updates as soon as we have more information and a clearer picture of what comes next.

🎨 OLD GREGG NOLA ART HAS JOINED THE SHRINE! 🥃🧜‍♂️

How cool is this?! A HUGE thank you to our close friends and longtime supporters at Eat Drink Love Catering and 701 Craft, John & Lauren, for surprising us with this incredible Old Gregg art piece!

This one-of-a-kind piece was created by a local New Orleans artist and has officially found its new home on our Old Gregg Shrine right by the music stage at Jobu’s. 🤘🎶

We seriously have some of the best friends and supporters around. Thank you, John & Lauren, for such a thoughtful—and perfectly Jobu’s—gift! 😂💚
