We had a special guest at The Lady May today: Mayor for a Day Graham Hill!

Graham is a third grader at St. Alphonsus. He spent the day with the mayor and the Ocean Springs police and fire departments, then joined us for a “working lunch.” We were happy to be part of it. Thanks for stopping in, Mayor Graham!

Sunday dinner didn’t start on Sunday.

It started Friday night with desserts, Saturday in the kitchen, and by Sunday after church, there might be 25 people headed to Grandma’s house to eat.

Back then, nobody thought much about it. It was just what you did. Looking back, it’s pretty easy to see where a lot of The Lady May came from.

We’ve got a lot more of this story to tell. This is just the beginning.
