Did you know… In 1945, a little flame was lit on the Eastern Shore. For generations it burned as “The Embers Restaurant”— warm, familiar, woven into the shoreline’s story. Now that flame has been rekindled as 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟓 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐤 & 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝: a refined dining room where classic American chophouse craft meets the sunlit flavors of Italy, Spain, and France.
Hand-cut chops. Seafood pulled from the same waters that have fed this coast for decades. Bourbon and w**e poured the way a good evening should unfold — slowly, generously, with the bay just beyond the glass.
It is still a family story. Jay Taustin, second generation, and Cole Taustin, third, have carried the name forward and given it a new light.
Come sit where the embers never really went out.
