At approximately 4:30 pm yesterday we received a phone call from the fire department in which they informed us that there was an active fire on the 3rd floor roof above our offices. Our front of house management team stepped into action and evacuated the building immediately. Our Kitchen management went straight to the fire itself and used a fire extinguisher to extinguish it within minutes of the call, and prior to the fire department’s arrival. We believe the fire was caused by a faulty wire feeding our signage. There is no damage to the interior of the building and very minimal damage to the exterior roof as well.
We want to thank all our customers who were very understanding during this stressful situation. It warmed our hearts to see y’all hanging around in the rain until you were able to find your server and give them a tip. Those stories were what we were talking about as we cleaned up at the end of the night!
We may not have a sign operating until Monday or Tuesday, but we are certainly open at 3:30 PM today!
