Last week, we had the honor of hosting BIGGBY Coffee Co-founder Bob Fish and members of the OBIIS team for a couple of days.
He gave a presentation on our Farm Direct Initiative, which focuses on ethically sourcing our coffee so farmers are paid a fair price for what they produce.
We also had the opportunity to work with Jorge, a coffee Q Grader, who took us through a cupping—a tasting method used to evaluate the aroma, flavor, and quality of coffee.
The two days were filled with great conversation, plenty of laughs, and meaningful learning, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came to experience the amazing community we serve.
