Let’s talk about it!

This particular rice is used everywhere and it’s considered a “go-to” for large batch cooking. I have even used it. Don’t get me wrong… it’s great in a pinch when you don’t have time to build the flavors that you want. I’m not even telling you NOT to use it. What I am saying is in my opinion and experience, this premixed rice can carry too much salt, preservatives, and food coloring. I like to control my salt content and build my own flavor profile. What do you think?

Gumbo Greens. These definitely are trouble but hey🤷🏾‍♂️. I usually like to use a spicy seasoning blend but the family can’t do spice 🤦🏾‍♂️. What do you think? Want some?
