Everything's Goodnow A cottage bakery crafting cozy cookies, biscotti, and small-batch cakes with care. Hello there! My name's Kelly and my love of baked goods and baking runs deep.

Inspired by quiet mornings, warm ovens, and simple moments that feel like home. My love of baking began at about 5 years old, helping my mom cut out sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies for holiday gift bags. Over the years I baked with my mom, she taught me so many things that have shaped the baker that I am today. Remembering the compliments my mom received on her holiday gifts and how everyone talked about them throughout the year made me realize that food could also be a love language. My love language started as holiday baskets and birthday gifts, just like my mom has always done, before it began to take shape into the beginning of my cottage baking business. With the support of my family and friends, I chose to share my love of cookies, biscotti, cakes and cupcakes with others and I hope you love them as much I do!

Apparently I've been so busy baking that I forgot to actually show you what I've been baking. 😂💕

A little peek at what's been coming out of the Everything's Goodnow kitchen lately: a sweet lemon raspberry birthday cake covered in rainbow sprinkles, ten Paint Palette Cookie Kits ready for a night of decorating, and a very special birthday cake inspired by a little bit of Practical Magic. ✨

From sprinkles and buttercream to dozens of tiny icing bags and a cake covered in flowers, lavender, and candlelight... they've all been completely different, and I've loved getting to make every one of them. 🥰

Now perhaps I should remember that making the things and posting the things are apparently two separate jobs. 😂

My first Torta Caprese! 🍫✨

Rich, fudgy, chocolatey and naturally gluten-free — this classic Italian chocolate almond cake may have just earned itself a permanent place in my recipe collection.

Made with almond flour and plenty of chocolate, it has that gorgeous crackly top with a dense, almost truffle-like center. A dusting of powdered sugar, fresh raspberries and mint were all she needed. ❤️

I made this beauty for our Italian-themed game night, and she was every bit as decadent as she looks.

Although, with the raspberries and mint sitting so sweetly on top, she does look rather innocent…

Cooler weather may not have gotten the Florida memo yet, but my kitchen certainly has. 🤎

Three layers of tender vanilla cake, filled and frosted with silky vanilla buttercream and dressed up with the sweetest little autumn buttercream roses. 🌹🍁

There’s just something about fall flavors — warm spices, toasted pecans, rich chocolate, apples, maple and all the cozy things — and I couldn’t wait any longer to welcome them back to the kitchen!

This year’s Autumn Harvest Collection features four flavors made for crisp mornings, cozy afternoons and your favorite cup of coffee:

Not quite ready to say goodbye to summer? Neither am I! ☀️ Lemon Blueberry, Peach Cinnamon Oat and Strawberry Vanilla Morning Cakes will remain available through September 21, so there’s still time for one last taste of summer before they disappear until next year.

Raspberry-lemon cupcakes made with plenty of juicy raspberries and topped with swirls of soft pink and yellow lemon buttercream, alongside freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. 🧁🍪

I absolutely loved creating these treats for Ashley's beautiful celebration—and seeing them all set up among the lemons, florals, and sweetest little details made my heart so happy. 🌸🍋

This sweet Frozen-inspired 5" strawberry cake was made for a very special 4th birthday, with soft pink buttercream, icy blue and lavender details, delicate pearls, buttercream florals, and plenty of snowflakes for a little extra magic. 💕❄️

And because one tiny cake can only hold so much birthday magic, she was joined by a whole collection of mini cupcakes in strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate! 🧁✨

Soft vanilla cupcakes filled with strawberry jam, topped with swirls of strawberry buttercream made with real strawberries, and finished with a sprinkle of freeze-dried strawberry for one last bright, berry-filled taste of summer. 🧁

Because before we officially make room for cozy spices, maple everything, and all those beautiful fall flavors… strawberry deserves one more moment in the sunshine. ☀️🍓

Meet two of the newest Everything’s Goodnow Morning Cakes!

🍋🫐 Lemon Blueberry — a tender lemon cake bursting with blueberries, topped with buttery vanilla bean streusel and finished with a bright lemon glaze.

🍑 Peach Cinnamon Oat — a soft vanilla cake filled with fresh peaches, piled high with cinnamon oat streusel, then finished with a touch of peach preserves and vanilla glaze.

Each Morning Cake is baked in a 6-inch pan, but don’t let that number fool you—these beauties bake up big, tall, and perfect for sharing. (Or keeping next to the coffee pot and making increasingly questionable decisions throughout the weekend. I don’t judge. 😉)

Sometimes you just need to make the cake that's been living in your head. 💛🌸🌿

No order. No occasion. Just a quiet Sunday evening, a little inspiration, and an excuse to play with buttercream.

I fell completely in love with this soft butter yellow, and pairing it with dusty pink roses and sage green leaves somehow made it even sweeter. Add in all that vintage-inspired piping, and this little 4-inch beauty turned into the prettiest tiny garden cake. 🥹

Sometimes baking just for the joy of creating is the very best kind of baking.

And yes... I will absolutely be using this color palette again. 😂💛

Game night called for a little tropical sweetness! 🌺🌿🍌

Gluten and dairy friendly vanilla bean cake layered with caramelized banana filling and silky vanilla buttercream, finished with soft tropical details for a cake that was just as pretty on the inside as it was on the outside. 🤍

And the best review of the night? Going back for seconds… and stealing your husband’s frosting because apparently your own wasn’t enough. 😂 That’s the kind of feedback a baker loves!

Dessert was followed by game night, where I bravely remained the last human standing against an ever-growing army of traitorous Space Slugs.

I eventually succumbed. 🐌👽

So overall: cake was a success. Humanity was not. 🤣

Just another night fulfilling my very important role as the designated Dessert Woman. 🎂✨
