Ha! This is from our city council that ignored all of our concerns in the neighborhood and could never even once acknowledge all the emails I had sent her! I only met her once in her 2 terms she has served our district. This statement is a lie and super insulting. Actions speak louder than words.

This is it folks, the time has come to call it quits at Rooz cafe. It’s been rough doing business in Oakland with all the nonsense and no accountability from city officials. I’m honored by the support I had during these tough times from the community. Rooz cafe has been my life for almost 22 years and I will cherish all the good times and the good people that were involved. The last day will be this Saturday September 9th. We will also do a hangout after 6pm Saturday 9/9 for lots of high fives. Be safe, be good to each other and always support your local small businesses, they need you.
