Meet the People Person 👥: Nate

As Director of Customer Success, Nate’s focus is simple: making sure every client feels taken care of and every event experience delivers. Whether he’s helping navigate the planning process or ensuring the details come together seamlessly, he’s always focused on the people behind the event.

A few Nate-isms:
• He’s been showing dogs since he was 14, including Shar Peis and Chows.
• His first job was as a dog bather at a grooming shop.
• Floral notes are his favorite fragrance, flavor, and decorating inspiration.
• He didn’t realize he was a foodie until he joined The Red Door Group in 2024—and he’s still slowly coming out of the foodie closet.
• His favorite part of any event is the people.
• If you dare him to do something, he’ll probably do it.
• When it comes to food, he’s most excited about creative plant-based dishes (with seafood as a close second).

The relationship builder, the experience advocate, and one of the biggest reasons clients feel at home from day one.

For generations, gathering has been an act of celebration, remembrance, resistance, and joy.
This Juneteenth, we honor the history that brought us here, the ancestors who paved the way, and the communities that continue to move us forward.

Happy Juneteenth. ❤️🖤💚

The Red Door is closed today in observance of Juneteenth as we take time to honor and celebrate this important day.

Meet the Mind Behind the Mockups 🎨: Saffia

As Graphic Designer for The Red Door Group, Saffia helps transform ideas into visuals that tell a story. From event signage and menus to look-and-feel decks and proposal presentations, her work helps shape the experience long before guests arrive. With a love for visual storytelling and an eye for thoughtful details, she’s often the person bringing inspiration to life.

A few Saffia-isms:
• She has a collection of poems she hopes to compile one day.
• She once ate watermelon salad so often it practically became a personality trait.
• Her black Cocker Spaniel, Nori, is named after the seaweed used in sushi.
• She’s a chronic overpacker who dreams of mastering carry-on-only travel.
• She loves the process of turning creative inspiration into something tangible.

The creative eye behind the details that help every event look as good as it feels.

That’s why we obsess over the details. 🔎 Because every bite, sip, and interaction becomes part of the story your guests take home.

Food isn’t just hospitality anymore. It’s part of the brand experience.

We’re seeing more brands—from luxury and beauty companies to major corporate activations—bring their identity into the food and beverage experience through custom menus, branded desserts, specialty cocktails, and thoughtful presentation.

But here’s the thing: a logo on a dessert the only thing guests will remember. They remember whether the experience felt elevated. Whether the food was fresh. Whether the details felt intentional. Because guests don’t separate the food from the brand. The food may not be what you sell, but at that event, it becomes a reflection of your company.

That’s something we understand deeply.

When we’re supporting a brand activation, we’re not just thinking about catering. We’re thinking about how every touchpoint contributes to the overall perception of the brand, and making sure the experience lives up to it. ✨

Not your standard dessert table. 🍰 Thoughtfully styled, perfectly lit, and gone by the end of the night — exactly how it should be.
