Tonight feels like a little bit of everything.
Something warm, something messy, something sweet at the end if you stay long enough.
Here’s what’s moving through the kitchen—
🍔Persian burger — a kabob patty with onions and sumac layered with sumac pickled onions, charred tomatoes, and a cucumber yogurt garlic sauce
🥗Tetas salad — a labneh base topped with fenugreek, Persian cucumbers, mint, blackberries, blueberries, and arugula tossed in chili olive oil from my home village in Lebanon. Served with pita of course!
🍗Buffalo chicken wings — a rich mildly spiced buffalo sauce served with carrots and celery to dip in ranch
🍓Strawberry bread pudding — our newest addition to the menu, a soft and sweet mixture of fresh strawberries with a rich custardy base
