Our newest coffees from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda have officially arrived, and this year’s harvest is especially exciting.
Natural processed coffees are stealing the spotlight, bursting with vibrant fruit, layered sweetness, and expressive flavors that showcase just how little intervention great coffee needs.
 
During this tasting, we’ll explore the coffee traditions of each origin, discuss how terroir shapes flavor, and discover how even small processing decisions can transform what’s in the cup.
 
Whether you’re a coffee professional or simply curious, it’s a great opportunity to experience some of the freshest and most exciting coffees on our menu.

Things are heating up, so we’re cooling down with the newest release from our fermentation lab: CĂ  phĂȘ sữa chua popsicles â˜€ïžđŸŠâ˜•

Inspired by the classic Vietnamese coffee drink, cĂ  phĂȘ sữa chua combines yogurt, condensed milk, and a rich, concentrated coffee, traditionally brewed with Vietnamese robusta.
 
At The Crown, we culture our own yogurt by fermenting Straus Family Creamery whole milk, blend it with espresso and organic condensed milk, then freeze it into popsicles.
 
Tangy, creamy, lightly sweet, and wonderfully refreshing, the perfect way to beat the summer heat.

Every coffee drink at The Crown is 25 cents cheaper right now, and will stay that way for about 60 days đŸ„ł

In 2025 we paid tariffs on the coffee we served. The courts later found those tariffs were never authorized, and Customs has started returning the money.

Our share, on the coffee that crossed this counter, came to about $2,500. We’re handing it back the only way a cafĂ© can, by taking it off the price of a drink until the full amount is returned.

We also published exactly how we calculated it, down to the roasting weight loss and the daily sales math. If you run a cafĂ©, it’s yours to use.

Starting July 1, every coffee drink at The Crown is 25Âą off for the next 60 days.
 
Earlier this year, import tariffs increased the cost of the coffee we served. Like much of the coffee industry, we adjusted our menu prices to reflect those added costs.
 
Now that U.S. Customs and Border Protection has begun returning those duties to importers, we’re passing our share back to you. Every coffee drink will be 25± off until we’ve returned approximately $2,500, The Crown’s share of the refunded duties. Based on our calculations, that’ll take about 60 days.
