Our concept is brand new and we are the first to introduce a café to the high-end condominium market. The café has been custom designed to be an integral part of The Grand apartment building. Come and enjoy having convenient access to the cafe’s relaxing spa-like environment to sit down for a relaxing beverage or light meal in our inside/outside sitting areas. Interior is eco-materials such as bam

boo flooring and ceiling panels, etc. A circulating water fountain is in the main sitting area to enhance the relaxing interior. Wi-Fi and on demand remote color laser is available; delivery to tenant apartments, catering or space rental. Space between tables in the sitting area will be much larger than usual to allow our clients to have privacy for conversations or reading. Food and beverages are organically certified and our inventory (cups, to-go containers, etc.) will be made from the COMPOSTABLE materials. Part of Grand Avenue, Lake Merritt area and Oakland

Difference between us and others…

Our quality is exceptional, from tea and coffee (Fair Trade and Organic) to our unique menu comprised of certified organic and locally supplied salads and sandwiches. Our price range that is competitive with any local café or restaurant. The creation of a the need for a social outlet that has found itself at coffeehouses. People have been drawn to them often without realizing they were fulfilling their own social need as much as they were getting caffeinated and fed. Our idea was to provide a menu and decor that will draw locals and business demographics and to appeal to the 4 senses: taste, smell, visual and sound with great service. The first Café that will eliminate food display fridges and first in USA, new model, ‘Certified green’ espresso machine (only one in the World), up to 47% energy savings. First Cafe that to print every six months our “Walk the Talk Passport” - our energy savings, contributions and donations to the community. We will donate at least once a month, free space and services for local non-profit organizations and charities. Come and visit us, support local business and support local community.
