It was a beautiful day at Milk & Honey!

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by with birthday wishes, hugs, and the sweetest gifts. Y’all sure know how to make a girl feel special.

And of course I had to make myself a birthday drink! Today’s choice was a Dirty Pumpkin & Brown Butter Chai and ohhhh my goodness… it was good to the very last sip.

Now I’m off to get ready for birthday dinner and spend the rest of the day celebrating with my family. I’ll be back bright and early in the morning to stock the porch fridge before church!

A little Friday update from Milk & Honey because we have A LOT happening around here!

First, be on the lookout this afternoon! We’ll be going LIVE to draw the winner of our Education Giveaway! You still have time to enter and get your name in before we draw, so if you haven’t entered yet, go do it!

And tomorrow is my birthday. 45. 🤍

I used to think getting older was something I was going to dread, but somewhere along the way my perspective changed. Getting older is a privilege. I’m thankful for every single day the Lord gives me, for this life I get to live, and for every opportunity He gives me to serve this little community that Brandon and I love so much.

So tomorrow, Milk & Honey will be open 7:00–12:00. I’m going to spend the first part of my birthday doing one of my favorite things, serving you guys from the porch. And then we’re closing a little early so I can spend the rest of the day celebrating with my family.

Speaking of family… I know so many of you have been asking about Hailey. She is still hanging in there, and Little Miss Victoria has NOT made her grand entrance yet! She does have an induction scheduled for next week, so we will not be taking any new personal can pre-orders for next week.

Our retail orders WILL still be fulfilled, though, so no worries there! You’ll still be able to find Milk & Honey cans at lots of our retail locations.

And when Victoria decides it’s time to make her appearance, Grandma and Grandpa will obviously be at that hospital, which means Milk & Honey will be closed for the day. That’s just one of those things that comes with running a small family business. We know you guys will understand and be patient with us for that one little day because there is absolutely nowhere else we’ll be when our first grandbaby enters this world. We cannot WAIT to meet her.

Now for something else I’m ridiculously excited about…

FRIDAY NIGHT AT MILK & HONEY IS HAPPENING!

The response to that idea was HUGE, so we are officially getting it scheduled and on the books! If there is a food truck you would love to see here, tag them below. We’d love to have two really good meal options here for you guys that night.

And y’all… the MINI CANS for our latte flights came in and they are ADORABLE. I cannot wait to put our new fall menu in those little cans and let you sample your way through it.

It feels like we’re standing right on the edge of a brand-new season around here.

The weather is about to change. Our family is growing. Milk & Honey is growing. There are new drinks coming, new events being planned, and some exciting things happening behind the scenes that we can’t wait to share with you.

There’s a whole lot of change happening at once, but more than anything, there’s a whole lot to be thankful for.

And we are. So, so thankful. 🤍

Had to make myself a dirty Cookie Butter Chai after coming to stock the porch fridge this morning.

Now we’re rocking on the front porch, enjoying the sunshine and a slow Sunday morning before church.

Y’all know my mind never really stops. I’m always thinking about new ideas, new recipes, what’s next, how we can be better, and what would be fun for our little town. It’s just who I am.

And this morning I’ve got an idea…

What if we did a Friday Night at Milk & Honey this fall?

We’d stay open until 8 or 9, bring in one or two food trucks, invite a couple of local vendors, and have mini cans for Fall Latte Flights so you could try several of our fall drinks without having to choose just one. Of course, our regular menu would still be available too!
