One year ago, I officially stepped into the role of owner of Sugar Fixé.
Since first opening in 2011, Sugar Fixe has been part of so many family celebrations, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and daily routines. It is an incredible honor to help continue that tradition and steward a business that means so much to our community.
I'm proud of what our whole team has accomplished together over the past year and cannot thank them enough. Special thanks to Emma & Corrie, our kitchen's hard work shines because of your leadership and creativity. Mel, your warmth and diligence are appreciated by everyone who walks through our doors. And thank you to all those who have contributed to Sugar Fixe's success over the years.
Like anyone who has jumped into a small business knows, transitions are rarely easy. This past year has brought its share of challenges, not only for the business, but also for my family and me personally. At the same time, it has been filled with growth, learning, and gratitude.
Thank you to our friends, business partners, and all those in the Oak Park community for your continued support.
