✨ Meet Aracely, our resident baking wizard! ✨

Aracely Barrera de B joined the CrumbCrusher team almost 3 months ago, and she has been a wonderful addition ever since. She's been training under Chelsea and Julie and has been a real gem when it comes to assisting with all the baking. With most of our college kids back at school after summer break, we are extra thrilled to have her. She's also been busy whipping up some delicious new treats!

🥟 We now have a hearty selection of empanadas, with vegan, sweet, and savory options:
• Mushroom
• Beef
• Chicken
• Sweet Potato
• Pumpkin
• Dulce de Leche

🧁 Cupcake flavors of the week:
• Spooky Spice: pumpkin cake with brown sugar buttercream and cinnamon sugar

Feeling so loved today! 🎂💕 Thank you to everyone who called, texted, or stopped by the bakery to celebrate my birthday with me — it truly made my day so special. I'm beyond grateful for this community.
A special shoutout to Anel Z. Dominguez for the most stunning flowers I have ever seen in my life 😍🌸 — you outdid yourself, and I'm still staring at them.
And a huge thank you to Rosalba Franco for squeezing me in last minute for a braiding appointment so I could feel extra cute for my big day! 💇🏾‍♀️

Thank you all so much for your patience and patronage today 🙏🏾🩷 we were a little backed up because I woke up to the most unpleasant surprise of my tooth filling having fallen out and a splitting debilitating headache from the pain 😵😖🤕 but after enough Tylenol I was able to push through! Thank you immensely to my team for going the extra mile.

Now for a nap until I can get to the dentist on Monday 🥺

This weekend has been a whirlwind — back-to-back celebrations and my heart is FULL.

First up: **Happy Birthday to Tobi**.
You’re the boy who changed my life and made me an overly proud mom in ways I can’t even put into words. Watching you grow, learn, laugh, and become more *you* every day is one of my greatest joys. I love you bigger than the biggest sky, kiddo. Mama is always in your corner.

And **Happy Father’s Day to Konrad** — my number one husband and dad, cyber security lead engineer, and the number one helper at the bakery. Thank you for being steady, supportive, and all-in for our family and for me. You show up in the big moments *and* the behind-the-scenes moments, and that’s what makes you incredible.

Also sending so much love to **my dad** and **my grandfather** — thank you for the love, lessons, and the example you’ve set. I carry it with me every day.

And to **all the dads** — the uncles, the bonus dads, the father figures, the dads of fur babies, and the moms who are stepping up and doing double duty — I see you. I honor you. Today is for you, too.

Oh! And **happy belated birthday to my sister-in-law** — love you and hope your year is amazing.

We are mourning the death of one my favorite musical artist Oliver Tree, who passed away this past Sunday in a tragic accident. I had tickets to see him on my birthday in August and I just cannot tell you how much sadness this has brought me over the past couple days ❤‍🩹❤‍🩹❤‍🩹

We will be rocking out to his music all week long in remembrance of the weird wonderful and sometimes solemn vibe he brought.
