Every day we wake up and we get another shot at "it". We say to ourselves that The Lord made this day, that we will do our best to serve Him, and then it's down the path we go. Each and every last one of you Wagon Pullers contributes something important and special to the world around us.. It truly is You who make this whole thing work. Swampers, there are plenty of riders on that Wagon, in fact more and more every day. It is, perhaps, our greatest failure as a Society. PAY THEM NO HEED!! Keep pulling because that is Who You Are. Keep pulling because deep down in your Soul, You know it's the right thing to do. Keep pulling because all work is noble, and your toil will be recognized and rewarded One Fine Day!
As I embark on this last day of having the privilege to serve You, the most loyal customers anywhere, I will leave you Swampers with a final thought: If You manage to bring even a fraction of the joy and satisfaction to the next person on your path as You have brought me, then rest easy and be assured that You have left an impression that will last a Lifetime. Thank You all for your patronage and your words of encouragement, but mostly for your Friendship. From the bottom of my heart, it has been an honor.

At the end of the day tomorrow, Swamp Coffee will be closing. The reasons are varied but, in the end, all that matters is that You have brought an utterly indescribable joy into my life. You are the ones who made getting up at the crack of dawn easy. You are the Force behind the success that we had and You are the ones I will miss the most. In short, You Swampers ROCK. This experience has been one I shall never forget. Thank You all for your business over the last year and, from the bottom of my heart, Thank You for the memories and for the Love. Remember, it's not that we stumble, it's that we get back up.

The Commissioner of the No Fun League is at it again.. Starting this Fall, Jammin' Jimmy Graham's signature goal post touchdown celebration dunk will be illegal and draw a flag. Swampers Unite! Protest this nonsense by ordering a Swamp Buddy Fleur de Lis shaped donut and proudly dunking it right down into your favorite Swamp Coffee.. Show Ol' Rog that his petty little dictatorship is not welcome or appreciated! WHO DAT!!

The #1 ranked Class 2A softball team in the State of Louisiana is the Lady Tiger team from right here in Oak Grove.. Today they are on the road to take on Sterlington. Mom Callie, and her daughter 1st baseman Madison Bruce, floated up to the Boat Ramp on their way to the game.. We at Swamp Coffee wish You the best!!
