Tonight was a wonderful birthday celebration. The featured dish was a pan fried Chilean See Bass with charred baby bak choy, cilantro lime rice, and a coconut curry broth. Crispy, buttery, sweet, and a little bit of heat. This one checked all of the boxes.

A few days late, but we wanted to share our creation for Good Friday dinner. As with tradition, seafood was the on the menu.
We prepared a pan seared seabass with a soy ginger glaze over miso and mushroom risotto.
We used our recently acquired hexclad pans for cooking the protein. The result was a buttery flakey fish with an amazingly crisp sear. As beautiful as it was delicious.

When your daughter asks for ramen on her birthday, ramen is on the menu. Miso-ramen with chicken, sautéed shiitaki mushrooms, green onion and egg. The broth is a made with a miso tare and a pork and leek base stock. 🎂 🍜

While the arctic blast moves in, The Chef’s Table is staying warm with our hearty chili. Slightly spicy, and full of flavor, this four meat chili is sure to keep you warm and toasty. Best paired with a warm slice of buttered Italian bread.
