We did a thing…
Acceptance speech ⬇️ Hark, dear friends and honored listeners, we speak before thee with a grateful heart as we accept the “ food favorite accolade” for our beloved baked potatoes.
We never could have imagined our modest faire would be so welcomed amongst the wondrous spread of scrumptious food found along meandering paths and lively pubs
I offer my sincerest thanks to you, our cherished patrons, whose kind votes and steady support have lifted our humble spud to this esteemed honor. Your favor is as refreshing as a cool mug of mead on a warm summer’s day, inspiring us to continue our modest quest for spud perfection.
Let us also honor the spirit of our Renaissance festivals—a vast and welcoming realm where every soul is embraced, regardless of garb or station. In this enchanted land, each heart is treated with respect, and every individual is free to express their truest self without fear or judgment. Truly, these festivals have grown to be more than mere events; they have become a second home, a family where bonds of kinship are forged amid shared revelry and merriment.
For over many a season, our gatherings have woven a tapestry of friendship and fellowship so deep that every smile exchanged and every laugh shared has become a cherished memory—one that reminds us that here, all are welcome and every person is family.
I humbly accept this honor on behalf of our little venture, and I thank thee from the depths of my heart. May our humble spud continue to bring warmth, friendship, and a touch of merth to every corner of this vast, kinship-filled realm.
thank you, one and
all.
