Our Thai Spicy family will be taking this time to celebrate Lao New Year (Pi Mai Lao)—a vibrant and meaningful holiday that marks the beginning of the new year in Lao culture. It’s a time for renewal, family gatherings, paying respect to elders, visiting temples, and celebrating with water blessings that symbolize washing away the past and welcoming good fortune, happiness, and prosperity for the year ahead.

We start with freshly cut, in-house prepared pork belly, carefully seasoned and fried until perfectly golden. Thai crispy pork is made by slowly cooking the pork until tender, then drying and deep-frying it to create that perfect balance of crispy, crackling skin and juicy, flavorful layers inside.
