Alright y’all, sorry I’ve been a little quiet lately.
Well, here we are. ONE YEAR.
One hard-fought, crazy year full of ups, downs, long nights, and more emotions than I could ever put into words.
They say the restaurant business ain’t easy, and Lord knows they weren’t lying. But I can tell you one thing — it would’ve been a whole lot harder without the incredible people who have supported us along the way.
Big shout out to my business partner for their support and guidance. Without them none of this would be possible.
Words will never be enough to explain just how thankful my staff and I are for every single one of you.
When crawfish season started, I was nervous as hell. We were late to the party, my boil shack was still months away from being ready, and there were plenty of reasons to worry.
But y’all showed up.
You kept us going. You kept us pushing. And somehow, along the way, you voted us CultureMap’s Best New Restaurant of 2026!
Then came the nominations for Best of Texas and Fort Worth Weekly’s Best Cajun Restaurant.
Just being nominated was a blessing. But winning? Man, that’s a dream I never want to wake up from. Sometimes it still doesn’t feel real.
Sure, we showed up and did our job. But Y’ALL made this happen.
I’m not going to pretend this road was easy. There was blood, sweat, and more tears than I care to admit poured into getting here. There were days I questioned everything. But every time things got tough, y’all kept showing up. And that gave me another reason to keep pushing.
I’ve come a long way from the boat, to boiling crawfish in the backyard, to finally having a place where I can welcome y’all in and really take care of you.
I’ll never forget those days slinging crawfish out of my driveway, thinking, “Man, if only one day we could make this thing legit.”
Well, here we are.
And I couldn’t be more proud to call North Texas home.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Thank you for believing in us, supporting my staff, bringing your families, telling your friends, and giving this little Cajun dream a chance.
Now, enough of all that emotional stuff. WE GOT SOME CELEBRATING TO DO! 🦞🍻
