Congratulations, Jaap!

After 38 years of dedicated service at NMC Health, our beloved Maintenance Supervisor, Jaap V., is stepping into retirement. Well, kind of. He'll stay with us in a PRN role.

While Jaap isn’t one for the spotlight, we couldn’t let this moment pass without expressing our immense gratitude for everything he’s done.

Jaap has quietly kept things running smoothly behind the scenes—no major HVAC failures, no frozen pipes in the middle of freezing winters. He’s been here, day and night, ensuring our hospital stays warm, safe, and operational, even in the toughest conditions.

We’ll miss his expertise, dedication, and the countless ways he’s taught us all.

As Jaap transitions, we’re excited to congratulate William S., who’s been by his side since 2001, as our new Maintenance Supervisor.

Thank you, Jaap, for everything. You’ve made NMC Health better in so many ways.
