Today, we would like to share something from the heart. ❤️🇵🇪
We thank God for every person who walks through our doors, for those who enjoy our food and return, and also for those who help us recognize where we can improve.
Taste of Peru was born from our love for our culture and our desire to bring authentic Peruvian cuisine to North Myrtle Beach. Our family is from Lima, Peru, and has more than 25 years of experience owning and operating restaurants, including Japanese, steakhouse, and breakfast concepts. Today, we are incredibly proud to share our roots and the authentic flavors of Peru with this community.
Our Peruvian chefs prepare every dish with respect for the traditional recipes and flavors that have been part of our family for generations. It is the same food we enjoy at our own table—prepared with authenticity, dedication, and pride in our heritage.
Our space may be small, but it is warm and welcoming, with counter service rather than traditional table service. Although we do not have servers, our cashiers welcome every guest with kindness and respect, while our kitchen team prepares each dish with care. Behind every meal are hardworking families, many far from home, striving each day to build a better future while sharing a true taste of Peru with you.
We are learning, growing, and working every day to provide a better experience. If you have constructive feedback, please feel free to contact us directly. We promise to listen and take it into consideration.
We simply ask that, before judging us, you remember that behind this small business is a family, a story, many years of experience, tremendous sacrifice, and a deep love for our culture.
Thank you to everyone who supports us, recommends us, returns, and allows us to continue growing. May God protect our business, our customers, our team members, and all the families who depend on them.
Our restaurant may be small, but our hearts are enormous, and we are proud to share the authentic flavors of Peru with North Myrtle Beach. 🇵🇪❤️
With love,
The Taste of Peru Family
