Day 3 — Food Should…
Food should…not be ruled by “shoulds!”
Food can nourish, comfort, satisfy, connect, and delight.
It doesn’t need to do all of those things at every meal—and it doesn’t need to be “perfect.”
A more peaceful relationship with food leaves room for preference, pleasure, flexibility, and listening to your body.
If you could replace one food “should” with curiosity, what might change?

Day 2 — The Bravest Thing 💪
Courage in recovery doesn’t always feel brave.
It may look like moving toward something that scares you.
It may sound like telling the truth: “I’m struggling,” “I need help,” or “This is what I need.”
Bravery can be using your voice or deciding to stay quiet.
Bravery is taking the next right baby step.

Recovery is possible—and life can get bigger.
In this first of five quick questions with my friend Dr. Jen Nardozzi, we name the heart of recovery: more room for relationships, rest, spontaneity, joy, and the parts of you that have been waiting.
Recovery does not have one look or one timeline. But it can begin with the belief that something more is possible.
How would you answer that question?

"WHAT IF I NEVER LIKE MY BODY? 😔"

It’s a question many people carry into eating disorder recovery.
You can't force yourself to love or even like your body.

Recovery can begin with respect:
• Feeding your body consistently
• Wearing clothes that feel comfortable
• Treating your body with dignity

As Dr. Jennifer Nardozzi and I discuss, body image may shift as recovery continues and thinking becomes clearer. Until then, body respect can be a safer, more attainable place to land.

GAME, SET, SNACK: What I Pack for a Day at the Office!
🎾 Inspired by one of my favoriteTennis Channel segments — where professional tennis players show what’s inside their tennis bags — I thought I’d do my own version:

🍴 What’s in my lunch bag for a full day at the office.

As an avid tennis fan and player, I love seeing how athletes prepare for long days on court. And as a nutritionist, I know that work days need preparation too.

For me, packing food isn’t about making perfect choices. It’s about making sure I have enough, including foods that are satisfying, practical, and nourishing — so I’m not trying to make food decisions when I’m already busy and sometimes distracted. Having the food you want to eat readily available is a game changer!

🔸This is real-life gentle nutrition: planned, flexible, and enjoyable.

Nourishment Beyond the Plate!
🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸
I spent a day of Soul Nourishment :
feasting on friendship,
reveling in riots of flowers,
treasuring the playful topiaries,
and even encouraging my Inner Child to wear Mickey Mouse ears!

EAT. PAUSE. LISTEN.
We spend time planning what to eat,
but how often do we check in while we’re eating?

and I are talking about why the PAUSE is an important part of any meal.
Our bodies are always talking to us about hunger, fullness, and what we truly need—we just have to slow down enough to hear the truth.

Save this post to remind yourself to take a "power pause" during your next meal! 🚩

ALL. FOODS. FIT !
2 Amys Walk into aPizza Joint... 😅

I had lunch wiht my colleague, Amy Zogran, RD (Regional Outreach Director for Monte Nido , to discuss why pizza is actually doing more for us than we think.
The breakdown:
🔹 Complex Carbs: The crust provides the primary fuel souces your brain literally craves to function.
🔹 Protein: Shrimp and dairy to keep you satisfied.
🔹 Veggies: Arugula and tomatoes provides micronutrients.
Food is about connection, culture and nourishment in every sense.
Because honestly?
All. Foods. Fit 🩵💙
