Did you know that Hawaiian pizza originated in Canada?

We're not kidding! It was invented by a man named Sam Panopoulos, who said that he was looking for a way to use up some leftover dough and sauce he had in his fridge. He thought it would be funny to get his friends to eat it by saying it was Hawaiian pizza, but they ended up loving it so much that they kept eating it!

It's still a huge part of Canadian culture today!
