Update:
Just wanted to take a minute to update the community on our plans moving forward - we still don’t have any.
We are still processing the devastation of 3/31 and the loss of our investment. FEMA has no help for business owners and have directed us to the SBA for a low interest loan to rebuild or relocate. So we are still weighing our options.
But let me clarify something - we love that community and our preference is to reestablish our business in some form in that same location.
Dog Town Pizza did not own that building. We have a lease with the option to purchase once it has gone through probate. We also, however, have a paid contract on the property for another two years so it cannot be used for anything by anyone other than us until then - just to dispel any rumors.
So, give us just a little time (it’s only been three weeks) to get our bearings, weigh our options, and make some decisions.
We appreciate all of you and all of your support and we pray this community as a whole can heal in every way.
