We’ve been in the kitchen testing NEW, seriously craveable menu creations for fall—and we’re getting VERY close to dropping them. 🍂🤤

First up: Hot Honey Spicy Chicken & Waffle 🍗🧇 — crispy, sweet, savory, spicy, and finished with a drizzle of hot honey. 🍯🔥

And that’s just the beginning. We’re building the rest around our new spicy chicken, spicy sopressa, fiber-rich ingredients, hearty grain bowls, and soft, chewy ciabatta rolls. 🥪🥗✨

Do you have your tickets yet? 🎟️

Join us Wednesday, August 26 from 4–8 PM in Iowa City Downtown District for an evening of tasting local, sipping local, and celebrating the food scene that makes our community so unique. ❤️

Stop by Downtown Java House and get ready to sample an assortment of our NEW NYC-Style Half Baked Cookies — thick, soft-baked, ridiculously gooey cookies with a decadent, almost-underbaked center. 🤤🍪

We’ll also have some of our Java House classics, including Scotcharoos and Rice Krispy Treats, all made right here in our Downtown bakery. 🧁✨

And because dessert is better with coffee… ☕️😉

We’ll be serving up iced coffee, summerberry green tea, and Classic Lemonade from 4–8 PM!
