At Tay's, we get cases of real potatoes.

Every day, our team hand-cuts fresh potatoes right here in the restaurant, then cooks them in beef tallow, not seed oils! No shortcuts. No frozen bags. Just real potatoes, cut fresh and cooked to order.

It takes more time. It takes more effort. But when you bite into a basket of Tay's fries, we think you'll understand why we do it.

Apparently a lot of people saw our 24-hour announcement and said, “Wait… Tay’s has breakfast?”

Yep, we sure do. And now we’ve got NEW breakfast hours:

🍳 Breakfast served daily from 4AM–10AM
🍔 Burgers served 24 HOURS

Our breakfast menu is simple, fresh, and delicious. Choose from farm fresh eggs with pasture-raised pork sausage or bacon, or grass-fed steak- all served on a locally baked English muffin. Pair it with Tay’s hand-cut fries, fresh coffee, or fresh-squeezed orange juice. ☕🍊

Whether you’re heading to work, ending a late night, or just craving a really good breakfast sandwich… we’ve got you covered!

We hate seeing this. 💔

There’s something special about Kansas City late-night food spots, and Town Topic Hamburgers has been part of that culture for generations. We were honestly excited to join them in the 24-hour club! Not become one of the only ones.

We completely understand that safety has to come first, and we’re saddened to hear the challenges they’ve been facing. We truly hope this doesn’t discourage other local restaurants from staying open later or trying new things. KC deserves more late-night food options, not fewer.

Much respect to Town Topic and everything they’ve meant to this city for the last 75 years. We’re rooting for safer streets, thriving local restaurants, and a future where Kansas City’s late-night food scene keeps growing. ❤️
