Throwback Brewery is a small, inspired brewery dedicated to crafting delicious, farm-fresh beer & food from local ingredients. Our brewery and pub are located within a picturesque and meticulously renovated 1860s post & beam barn in North Hampton, NH. Our 12-acre farm- Hobbs Farm- includes a hop yard, young fruit orchard, kitchen & brewery garden, heirloom chickens, and a beer garden overlooking t

he field. Given the greenery and peaceful setting of the farm, you would never know that we are conveniently located right off of Route 1 and less than three and a half miles from the beach! Since we got started in a small warehouse space in July of 2011, our vision at Throwback has been and continues to be all about crafting beer from ingredients grown within 200 miles of us. With the opening of our restaurant in July of 2015 and the move to Hobbs Farm, we have committed to these same sourcing philosophies and love & care in crafting our food as we do our beer. In our kitchen, everything is made from scratch using the freshest of local ingredients from surrounding farms and New England businesses. For example, the eggs in our Fried Eggs BLTs come from our farm, and all the bread is made from scratch in our kitchen using spent grain from our brewing process. We are proud to serve such fresh and tasty food (and beer!) to our family, friends, and to you, our great customers. Cheers

Peak tomato season doesn’t last long... and this is exactly what we’ve been waiting for!

Our gardens are overflowing with tomatoes in every shape, size, and color, and we’re piling them high on two of our favorite seasonal specials:

- Tomato Toast (V) — a thick slice of our house sourdough topped with whipped feta, a medley of just-picked Hobbs Farm tomatoes, and fresh basil pesto made from basil grown right here on the farm.

- Hobbs Farm BLT with our peak-season tomatoes, thick-cut North Country bacon, Duke’s mayo, and house spent grain bread.

While you’re here, don’t miss a few more farm-fresh favorites:

- Ceviche (GF) with locally caught halibut, scallops, Gulf shrimp, champagne mango, jalapeño, and Hobbs Farm cilantro.

- Mind Your Peas & Carrots Noodle Bowl (GF, VG) with Hobbs Farm peas, lemon verbena-poached carrots, ginger peanut sauce, and more fresh-from-the-farm goodness.

Heading to the New England Hot Sauce Fest this Saturday? Be sure to stop by and grab a pour of our Spicy Bohemian (Jalapeno Pilsener) while you’re there!

But don’t let the heat stop when the festival ends. Swing by Throwback before or after the fest to check out our full spicy lineup, including Spicy Margaritas, Spicy Bohemian (on tap and in cans), and the wildly fun Tom Yum Boom- a wheat ale brewed with ginger, coconut, Thai chili peppers, kaffir lime leaves, and lemongrass.

We read the headlines. We ate the salad anyway. 😊 Our salad greens are grown indoors in MA greenhouses by Little Leaf Farms. CBS Boston confirmed zero pathogen cases there in 10 years. Still fresh, still local, still eaten with zero hesitation by us.

Thank goodness, cause this salad is really good! Lol Hope to see you here at the farm. Cheers!
