Special Announcement:
It’s hard to put into words what this place has meant to me.

When I opened the doors of Chesapeake Bay Coffee Company back in 2015, I had a dream and a whole lot of coffee. What I didn’t expect was the overwhelming support of this great community that showed up, morning after morning.

I’ve watched kids who used to come in holding their parents’ hands grow up and start ordering their own lattes. I’ve seen first dates turn into engagements. I’ve poured coffee for people on their best days and sat with them on their hardest ones. That’s not just business. That’s family.

After a decade, the time has come for me to close this chapter. Chesapeake Bay Coffee Company will be closing its doors, but only long enough for someone very special to open them again…

I am thrilled to share that our very own Ashley McCormac will be taking over our beloved space and will continue to serve our community by launching Morning Glory Cafe. If you’ve spent any time in North East, you probably already know Ashley. Her passion for great coffee and the people she serves is the real deal. I wouldn’t trust this place, your place, to just anyone.
Morning Glory Cafe will carry forward everything you’ve loved about CBCC: the familiar faces, the quality you count on, and that feeling you get when you sit down with a warm cup.
To every regular, visitor, and friend who became family - thank you. You gave me something I’ll carry with me forever.
This isn’t goodbye. It’s good morning.

Introducing the new Donut of the month, strawberry shortcake, available friday-sunday for the month of February. It’s a vanilla doughnut, filled with cream and strawberry filling topped with more cream and a heart shaped strawberry.
