Dearest Gentle Readers of the Harbor,

Whispers upon the summer breeze suggest that something rather refreshing is brewing at Black Anchor Coffee House. While I cannot reveal all the details just yet, I can assure you that a collection of delightful new drink concoctions is nearly ready to make its grand debut. Consider yourselves officially teased.

In the meantime, one would be wise not to overlook our fresh-made parfaits. The Lemon Curd Parfaits have returned to steal hearts once more, accompanied by their equally charming Mixed Berry counterparts, both prepared fresh each day.

And should your morning appetite be making a scandalous fuss, our breakfast bagels remain a most dependable companion—filling, delicious, and always ready to satisfy.

Stay alert, dear readers. Summer’s most refreshing secrets shall soon be revealed.

Dearest Gentle Readers of the Harbor,

As the long Memorial Day weekend drifts upon us like a proud ship returning home, all of us at Black Anchor Coffee House raise our cups in honor of the brave souls who gave everything for this country. Their courage is the reason we gather freely with family, laughter, sunshine… and perhaps an iced latte or two.

While many enjoy the holiday’s adventures, let us not forget the heroes whose sacrifice made such moments possible. To our soldiers, past and present — we thank you beyond measure.

And should your weekend voyage require coffee, breakfast, lunch, or a cozy harbor to escape the crowds, fear not… Black Anchor shall remain OPEN Monday to serve the fine people of our community.
