Fresh Out of the Oven 🥖🔥

There is nothing quite like the smell of fresh bread coming out of the oven.

These are our small hoagie rolls making their way out of one of our tunnel ovens, baked to a beautiful golden color with the crisp crust and quality that have defined Corropolese for generations.

Whether it’s our classic blind cut rolls or our popular baguette style cuts, every batch is baked with the same attention to detail that has made our bread a staple in homes and businesses throughout the region.

The hardest part of the process? Walking by without grabbing one while it’s still warm.

Behind Every Roll Is a Process 🥖⚙️

Most people taste the finished product. What they do not see is everything that happens behind the scenes before the bread ever reaches the shelf.

After coming out of the oven, the rolls move through our spiral cooling system for nearly 30 minutes, allowing the heat to properly settle before packaging. Fans circulate air around the product to help maintain the crisp crust our customers know and expect while preventing excess moisture from softening the bread.

From there, every roll passes through metal detection and into the packing area, where our team works quickly and carefully to inspect each product before it leaves the facility. Nothing gets overlooked. If a roll does not meet our standards, it does not make it into the box and is instead donated to local farms so the product never goes to waste.

The work happening behind the scenes takes precision, consistency, and a team that genuinely takes pride in what they do every day. From the production line moving thousands of rolls an hour to the final stages of packaging, every step matters.

Whether it is seeded, unseeded, double seeded, long rolls, sandwich rolls, or the bread heading to some of your favorite local shops, it all starts here.

100 Years Baking For The Community 🍅 🔥

For over 100 years, Corropolese has been part of family dinners, holidays, office lunches, parties, and gatherings throughout the community. Our tomato pie is the flavor generations have grown up on, and the tradition continues every single day.

From our classic Red Tomato Pie to Sweet Pepper, Veggie, Spinach, Cheese, Pepperoni & Cheese, Pepperoni, Eggplant, Hot Pepper, Bruschetta, and Supreme pies, there is always something fresh coming out of the bakery.

Our Half Sheets are perfect for smaller groups and typically feed 3 to 5 people, while our Full Sheets are made for larger gatherings and can feed approximately 15 to 20 people.

No matter the occasion, there is a good chance a Corropolese pie is somewhere on the table.

The Process Behind the Rolls 🥖⚙️

Here at our main baking facility in West Norriton, Mike Corropolese takes us behind the scenes of the operation that helps keep our shelves stocked and our customers coming back generation after generation.

From the moment the dough is loaded into the hopper, the process is already moving with precision. The dough is divided, rounded, proofed, sheeted, molded, and deposited onto boards in a matter of minutes before continuing on to be stretched and measured for consistency.

Watching the line run is impressive on its own, but what stands out most is the attention to detail behind every step. Even at high volume, the goal never changes: quality, consistency, and doing things the right way.

This entire process inside the machine takes less than 10 minutes from start to finish, and the line is capable of producing up to 12,000 rolls per hour.

A lot of people know the final product. Few get to see what it takes behind the scenes to make it happen every single day.
