Itsssss hump day!!!! I know what it feels like being busy working parents! I miss the days of being able to cook for my family just simple southern classics that are comforting and nothing fancy. That is exactly what’s brought me to this every Wednesday I cook something for everyone to enjoy that isn’t a normal staple on our menu but a definite staple in my home! Come grab a bowl of pork and beans and ground meat tonight! Of course our full menu is available as well!

Today’s local resturant visit was The Moon Sushi & Asian Bistro wow is all I can say! Sooooo I had the fried rice and my daughter the sushi and lordy it was amazing! Now the star of the show the cheese cake that I was forced to share with my child soooooo good like I took a bite closed my eyes and everything was right with the world for just a moment. I have to make sure not to drive down Main Street on my way home from work or I’ll make a habit of stopping to get cheese cake daily! Well done guys! And top tier guest service with Devin like he makes you feel like you’re visiting with an old friend and he invited you in his cozy home! Loved it! More pics in comment section

Had the pleasure of trying two awesome restaurants in Norman the first was Mickey'z Corner right on campus we enjoyed our food and everyone was kind. They are putting in the work go check them out! When we were leaving we swung by the food truck court every one was closed but Shawarma so good but I’m also a lamb lover!!!!! His truck was awesome and so well thought out check them out!

Hello my beloved Blended Love Family, I wanna share some true things going on in the resturant Buisness. It is extremely hard for private owned restaurants like myself. I’m personally blessed because my husbands career takes care of our families needs. So I don’t have to take a salary from my business. But I can’t even imagine what it would be like if I had to. You can cook amazing food, have awesome reviews and still sink right now in this industry. The price of food almost leaves no room for profit and let’s not talk about trying to keep the lights on or paying the rent/mortgage payment. Oh and don’t forget staff, commercial rent is high imagine how much homes have increased now think about commercial properties. I would ask if you eat out at all during the week try to eat local, try to stop by a small family owned restaurant, please, please, please support as many food trucks as you can those people work extremely hard! I have regulars that come see us weekly, I have families that come see us multiple times a month. Most of my regulars never come alone they always bring someone else to try it yet most hours I’m open my floor sits empty. Yes we are new and yes we are building our brand but even saying that I know most days I still get more customers than others. More consistent returns. So if we are struggling I can only imagine how others feel. Please if I can say anything to you support as many locally owned businesses as you can. You need something printed find a local print shop, you need something fixed call a small Buisness owner, thank you for letting me release a little pressure with you all! Be blessed!
