I will never get tired of the electric energy Monarch Fans bring on a game day! Yesterday was incredible. 🥳
I want to give three shout outs to people who deserve praise for what they brought to the table for our first game of the season.
One.. our customers. Unwavering, supportive, encouraging, grateful, and so very valued. It didn’t matter to them that our AC broke AGAIN. They sat elbow to elbow in our warm dining area with box fans creating a mild breeze. No one complained, but did the exact opposite. They thanked us for opening anyway. 🥹
Two.. Hill Tech HVAC and Electrical. After a long, hot summer struggling to find a company who will service our unit, I finally struck gold. My former HVAC Technician broke up with me in the spring because he’s too busy (💔💔💔) and it seems as though a good one is hard to find. Most companies won’t service commercial, only residential, or are short handed and can’t make it to you before a week. A Google search landed us on Hill Tech Friday afternoon and they were here at 10:30 Saturday. This father/son team found the problem on the mother board. After realizing they couldn’t get their hands on a new one until Tuesday, they took the fried one to their shop, soldered it to buy me time, and returned to put us back together. They didn’t have to do that for us. The project isn’t over, and they may be regretting starting this relationship 😂, but I’m going to hang onto this amazing, loyal, hard working company until they break up with me, too! Three.. my staff. What we did yesterday was
hard. Most of our team are ODU students and enjoy the tailgates and game, as they should. It left 4 of us to navigate the never-ending rush from start to finish with one extra helper for the lunch and dinner rush. It was hot. It was intense. It was challenging… but so rewarding. This show wouldn’t go on without them and I am so very grateful. We were too busy to snap a photo but this group deserves praise. JJ, Kam, Kayla, Liam, and Lily.. thank you. Momma loves you. 💜
Our AC is only temporarily fixed for now. Hoping it keeps us cool until our part comes in. We appreciate your patience with us. Congrats to our Monarchs who brought in a win 🥳🥳🥳 and we hope every one of you enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend!
