Hi everyone! Little update: I am not taking orders at this time because I am unable to work for the foreseeable future. I’ll be spending the next several months recovering from an ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair. 😞 I hope you all have the happiest birthdays/most beautiful weddings/best events!! ❤️

Made this cutie for my beautiful mama, who turned 60 last week. She and I always watched The Nutcracker Ballet every year at Christmas when I was growing up, so it seemed fitting to paint on a buttercream nutcracker and sugarplum fairy and lots of bows. She’s gonna have to share the bday celebration w Jesus, which I’m sure she won’t mind. 🩰🎄🎂

I was so bummed that I never got a pic of this with the cake topper. Oh well! {This was a salted caramel tres leches cake. It was a pretty traditional tres leches recipe but I used salted caramel sugar to make the caramel condensed milk that I used in the tres leches soak as well as for the base for my salted caramel Russian buttercream. I also drizzled salted caramel between the layers before decorating it like the night sky} 💫💫

You know what I hate? When I spend 463 hours working on something pretty and then forget to take good pics. These p**s poor fridge pics are all I snagged. She was for a couple of love birds celebrating their 50th (FIFTIETH?!!! 👏🏼👏🏼) wedding anniversary with a vow renewal on the beach. Isn’t that adorable?
