(6/10) - Burrito bowls either chicken or vegetarian- roasted sweet potatoes, cilantro rice, seasoned black beans, pico de gallo, avocado, sour cream

We always have chopped Italian hoagies and carries been also making chicken salad on our honey corn bread, so delicious.

Pizza special is jalapeño cheddar wurst, with sweet onions, provolone, mozzarella, whipped mascarpone.

Still some strawberry rhubarb sponge cake cups left, and a mini strawberry rhubarb pie.

We are fully loaded in the fridge and freezer thanks to Karen’s hard work this weekend. We have, chicken gnocchi, lasagna big and small, meatloaf, shepherds pie, stuffed cabbage, marry me tortellini, broccoli cheddar soup, chicken piccata meatballs, broccoli salad, pasta salad, deviled eggs, meatballs marinara, enchiladas.

Mondays (6/1) sandwich special is Carries fully loaded BLT - bacon, avocado, cheddar, lettuce, tomato on a seeded savory moose hoagie roll.

Karen was gifted some fresh rhubarb, and may be a bit pleased about it! We have the best customers!

Did you know you can pre order a blueberry or strawberry rhubarb pie small just $10 or large for $20. If your into just stopping in to see we have a couple small pies in the display case most days.

I swiped Karen’s prep list when she wasn’t looking and I’m posting it without her permission, Mainly because I didn’t take any pictures of the food like I was supposed to, when I was in today.

She made chicken salad, potato salad, pulled pork, shepherds pie, and split pea soup.

I also saw a stack of chicken enchiladas hit the freezer Thursday afternoon 🤤

Mondays (6/1) sandwich special is the fully loaded BLT! Everyday we have the chopped Italian and two kinds of pizza, so come grab lunch sometime.

I think you’d better stop in and see for yourself.. Karen knew a new double door clear fridge and freezer needed to happen. They only just squeeeeeezed through that door by half a whisker let me tell you, and after moving the register, and the pizza/coffee cake case, and the drink fridge, and a couple few houseplants plants, John was nothing but smiles, and happy to pause for a photo :) One thing that didn’t change is that Karen is cooking up a storm today (Sunday 5/31), I’ll let you know what she gets done, but I bet you won’t have to cook all week if you stop in and stock up! :)

Crumb bum day tomorrow come get a chopped cheese - it’s a chopped up hamburg, barely held together with American cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce. It eats like a cheese steak and is only 10 bucks. Easily the best 10 bucks you’ll spend all week.

The Mortadella is today’s special - Carrie made the mozzarella this morning, garlicky olive spread, sliced tomatoes, chilli spread, roasted red peppers. Simple. Delicious.

Still a good supply of danish, cream horns, turnovers, cookies, coffee cake, tres leche, apple strudel, puffins.

Today’s pizza special is the kielbasa - onions mustard , mozzarella, a wild combo that just rocks your tastebuds. Smokey, salty, mustardy, with just the right amount of kick.

Did you know we are going to be open for Memorial Day (Monday - 5/25)? I know you’re likely off from work, and I bet you’d be headed to Moose Crossing Garden Center to get “just a few things”. Swing on in to the Savory Moose and get a Loaded BLT or one of those Chopped Italians you’ve heard about, maybe a cookie to go with it. Grab something for dinner while you’re at it.

Karen and Carrie have loaded the fridge and freezer with Roasted Root Soup, Meatloaf, Chicken Salad, Chicken and veggie Alfredo Lagsagna, Wild Rice Salad, Pulled Pork, Mac & Cheese, Cole Slaw, Broccoli Salad. Course we always have chicken pot pie in the freezer for the wet rainy one we’re getting.
