Life has a way of filling our calendars, buzzing our phones, and pulling us in a dozen different directions. Before we know it, weeks have gone by since we've truly sat down with someone we care about.

One of the things we love most about the tearoom is watching people slow down. A pot of tea is poured, lunch is served, and suddenly the conversation becomes more important than the schedule.

Of course, quality loose-leaf tea, fresh water, and the proper brewing temperature all matter. But there's one ingredient that isn't found in any recipe...

Time.

Tea has a wonderful way of reminding us that not everything in life should be rushed. Some of the best conversations happen while we're waiting for the next cup to be poured.

🫖 **Behind the Teapot**

One of the questions we hear quite often is...

**"Do I get to choose my teacup?"**

The truth is, every teacup at Spill the Tea Tearoom has its own personality. Some are elegant, some are whimsical, some are delicate, and some have colorful patterns that have delighted guests for years.

One of my favorite parts of preparing for each guest is selecting a teacup that I think they'll enjoy. Sometimes it's because of the colors, sometimes the flowers, and sometimes it's simply a feeling that says, *"This is the one."*

It's a small detail, but it's one of the many ways we try to make your visit feel special.

So the next time you're here, take a moment to look at your teacup. Notice its unique design, imagine the stories it could tell, and know that it has now become part of **your** story, too.
