SO… WHERE DOES IT ALL END UP? ❤️

This is the part that makes all the Facebook numbers feel a little less like numbers.

A view becomes part of our reach.

A share puts the program in front of another person.

A comment helps create conversation.

The page grows.

The page earns.

A portion goes toward giving back.

Then our community helps determine where that blessing goes.

And eventually…

real money leaves the Facebook world and lands in the hands of someone who needs it.

That's the whole point.

We're not trying to create a program that looks good on Facebook.

We're trying to create one that does something good because of Facebook.

Today was BUSY, eventful, and full of moments I’m still trying to take in. ❤️
I’m still floating from getting to meet Mary and hand her that envelope with $645 inside. 🥹
What started as “that little spark” of an idea has given me the opportunity to do something meaningful for our community. Something that started with a simple thought has grown into something I never could have imagined when I first started.
And the part that gets me the most? I didn’t do this alone.
Every person who watched, shared, commented, voted, donated, or helped spread the word played a part in making this happen. You helped turn that little spark into something REAL. ❤️
I’m ending today with a full heart, a million thoughts, and so much gratitude for everyone who has been part of this journey.
From a little spark to $645 in Mary’s hands. Just look at what we can do when a community comes together. ❤️

HOW DOES THE COMMUNITY CHOOSE? 🗳️❤️

This is one of our favorite parts.

Because NLA Cafe doesn't sit in a back room and decide who gets the Give Back blessing.

YOU help choose.

After our finalists are selected and their stories are shared, voting opens to the community.

You get the chance to read their stories, learn about what they're doing, and decide who you believe should receive that month's blessing.

And we've learned something pretty cool along the way…

People care.

They share the stories.

They tag their friends.

They rally behind the people and causes that mean something to them.

And sometimes the votes get REALLY close. 👀

That's exactly why the program is called Community Choice Recipient.

Because the community chooses. ❤️
