Diagnosed with vulvar cancer in 1999, Marcia chose surgery and faced a difficult recovery. Nearly 27 years later, she is cancer-free and shares a powerful reminder to push through, pray, and surround yourself with a strong support system. 💜

James was just 53 when he lost his battle with stage 4 prostate cancer. His mother shares his story not only to honor his memory, but to raise awareness and remind others going through a cancer journey that they don’t have to carry it alone.

4-H teaches so much more than projects—it helps kids build confidence, responsibility, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships. 💚

Today we’re sharing Leslie’s story. 💗🎗️

Leslie was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer after a change was found during her routine mammogram. What followed was a difficult journey of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation — but also one filled with strength, support, and determination.

Leslie’s story is a reminder of the importance of routine screenings, listening to your body, asking questions, and advocating for yourself.

This month, we want to raise awareness by sharing real stories like Leslie’s, because behind every diagnosis is a person, a family, and a journey.

We would love to continue sharing stories throughout the month. If you or someone you know would like to share their cancer story with us, please reach out.
