We first released this coffee in February 2026—once we knew Ben Paz himself would be coming to visit this fall, we pulled the coffee before we sold out so we'd have some left to release at the time of Ben's visit! That time is here! ✨️ Ben is brewing up his own coffee in our cafe at this very moment (until 1pm today) and Benjamin Paz Honey is back on the shelves! 🥳
Here's a little about Ben and this coffee:
Benjamin Paz Honey comes from Finca La Orquidea, located near the village of El Cedral in Honduras. 🇭🇳 Benjamin has a breadth of knowledge about coffee production and is well-known for putting the coffee of Santa Barbara, Honduras on the specialty coffee map. He is producing some truly exceptional coffees that have won the Cup of Excellence several years in a row. 🏆️
Over the years, we have personally gotten to know Ben through Specialty Coffee Association events, catching up over dinners, and trips to visit him in Honduras...and now through his visit to us in Newport! Ben is incredibly genuine and approachable with a huge heart for coffee and people. We love our friendship with Benjamin and are so thankful for the opportunity to share his coffee! 💕
