Thank you oceans and salt ponds: Edible oysters have been a part of the human diet for at least 700 years, likely much longer. So we're throwing a party to say thank you to members of the Ocean State Aquaculture Association for cultivating the long legacy of this healthy bivalve right here on our shores. Nutritional know-how here

As the Final Four NCAA Tournament plays out this weekend, Oyster Madness has also been taking place in the Ocean State. Throughout the month of March, Bristol Oyster Bar has been pitting Rhode Island’s best oyster farms against each other in a briny (but friendly) competition.
