Have you met Chef Christian?

Chef Christian was born and raised in Cincinnati, where he developed a lifelong love for the city’s parks and signature chili.

Growing up with chef parents, cooking has been a constant throughout his life. Some of his earliest memories include helping prepare elaborate Thanksgiving feasts for his family.

Since joining our team, Christian has embraced the personal chef role. You can usually find him working with our in-home clients and at dinner parties. He especially loves the variety that comes with personal chef work, where no two clients, menus, or celebrations are exactly alike.

Outside the kitchen, Christian enjoys traveling and collecting music from around the world.

We are celebrating Helen! 🎉

Our dessert queen, prep cook extraordinaire, resident best friend, and the keeper of more container inventory than any one person should reasonably be asked to oversee.

If you’ve enjoyed a Goosefoot dessert or wondered how we keep this whole operation running, there’s a very good chance Helen had something to do with it.

Her wedding was this past weekend and we couldn’t be more excited for her!

Helen, thank you for everything you’ve brought to this team: hard work, reliability, humor, and the most streamlined dish-cleaning operation possible in our little kitchen.

Join us in wishing her a new chapter of happiness, adventure, sweet AND savory, plus plenty of her favorite things (which still includes cabbage).

It’s growing season here in our little corner of the world, and we’re sharing stories from the farms and growers behind our ingredients.

First up: Big Table Farm Cooperative, where Mary Kate is farming on soil built over generations.

More than 100 years ago, farmers on Wooden Shoe Hollow Lane hauled vegetables downtown by wagon, then returned from Cincinnati’s stockyards with hog manure to replenish the fields. They didn’t call Cincinnati “Porkopolis” for nothing.

That practice helped build the rich, nutrient-dense soil still visible today. Through careful stewardship, Farmer Mary Kate continues the long tradition of giving back to the land.

Did you know deviled eggs trace back way, way further than your grandma’s Midwest potluck table?

Versions of stuffed eggs have been around for centuries. And we’re here for the hype.

We’re sharing three of our favorite takes: beet-pickled, herb & goat cheese, and topped with bacon đŸ„“

Perfect for summer gatherings, cookbook clubs 😉, and any excuse to bring a tray of snacks somewhere.

Find the full recipe at the link in bio.
