Just an update in the wake and funeral arrangements for Irene If anyone is interested in coming : Wake is at Peninsula funeral home this Sunday April 6th at 3pm to 5pm with a prayer at 5pm and the funeral service is Monday April 7th at 2pm at the Greek Orthodox Church on J.clyde blvd in Newport News to be followed with a reception at the church after a service at the gravesite ....donations can be made to CHKD hospital in Irene's name and flowers can be sent to peninsula funeral home in Newport News .....please come join us and celebrate her life ❤️

We are very sad to announce that this morning the world lost an amazing woman , Irene Garefalis aka Mama passed away today. She will be missed by so many. Please keep her daughters in your thoughts and prayers while they deal with this great loss 😢funeral arrangements are being made and we will update the page with info on that for anyone that wants to attend , thank you so much ❤️

Hey guys we would like to announce that the new restaurant that has taken place of HdK #2 is NOW OPEN!!!! So please stop in and see the girls at Jefferson Diner open daily 7am to 3pm breakfast served all day lunch starts at 11am :) have a great day !!!!

It is with a heavy heart we are announcing that June 29th will be closing down for good ....Irene aka Mama wants to retire and her daughter Amanda out amazing cool and co-owner wants to peruse her passions in life and start a family....it has been a wonderful 19 years with alot of ups and downs but we would like to say thank you to all of our amazing customers new and old :) and hopefully you will all come see the new resturant that is opening in our place and a familiar face will also be here with the new tenant so come say hi :) hope to see you all in the next 2 weeks come get them while we are still here :) thank you all !!!!!
