"I had been on assignment at a Detroit Montessori school for two days, and shot hundreds of photos. Some were very good, but I knew I hadn't gotten THE shot. That afternoon, as we all sat on the floor in a circle listening to a story, I bowed my head. When I raised my head, this little girl leaned over to lay her head on the little boy's lap. He very gently lifted his arm to receive her. I call this photo 'The Age of Innocence."

Dear Friends of the First Ladies Tea Parlor,

We are saddened to announce that after over 2 years in Port Warwick The Tea Parlor doors were closed on July 25th, 2012. It’s been difficult to keep trying to operate a day to day venue in the Port Warwick area.

We have enjoyed hosting so many fantastic events and truly we value the bonds we made with so many wonderful friends! We will maintain the website & facebook for those of you who wish to download pictures of your past events.

We sincerely, sincerely apologize for all of those whom have made reservations for this week & next for dinner reservations.
