Crystal Cove Weather Update!

We've been getting a lot of calls of concern, so we wanted to give everyone a quick update on the weather and state of our beach. As you can see, the tides are high which is limiting space to enjoy the beach. BUT there's still space, the sun is still shining, and our restaurant is safe and sound. We are protecting our space from high tides and it is still safe for guests to come enjoy their favorite meals, so don't stay away, we miss you!

Dennis Reynolds was the very first Shuttle Driver hired for the Beachcomber Transportation Company and has been driving for us since August of 2006. Before Beachcomber, Dennis was an OCTA Access driver for 30 years.

What he enjoys most about driving the Beachcomber Shuttle is that almost all of his passengers are coming to Crystal Cove specifically to have a good time, whether for a special celebration, a delicious meal, or a relaxing beach day. He loves chatting with all of the friendly park visitors and enjoys getting to know “the regulars." He frequently picks conversations up where they left off when guests get back on the bus to return to the parking lot.

One thing to know about Dennis is that he is a great storyteller and always has a joke ready. He loves making people laugh and lending words of encouragement so that his passengers feel good, smile and laugh. He says he's the "warm up act" for a great day at Crystal Cove.

In his time off, he enjoys watching his LA sport teams (and Raiders), reading, studying cruising the highway, the Bible and spending time with his wife. When Dennis takes a vacation, he loves to take Cruises to warm locations like Mexico and the Caribbean. On long weekends, Dennis will drive to Las Vegas where he can visit his beloved Granddaughter.

Dennis takes pride in what he does and it shows. Thank you so much for all you do, Dennis!

Beach Update!

The hurricane hit us hard, but thanks to the efforts of the Crystal Cove Conservancy and State Parks we are hitting back! The beach is a little rocky right now, but the weather is warm and the sun is shining and we are serving up delicious food all day long! We'll see you soon!
