he Nexus. Inspired by our mission to serve as a bridge among communities, faiths, and lifestyles, The Nexus embodies the very heart of our sanctuary's work. In Latin, nexus means a connection or a link, and that is precisely what this elegant, minimalist space is designed to be. The Nexus is where our deep faith is put into action—connecting people with the Christian mandate for compassion toward all of God's creation, linking non-vegans with the beauty of a plant-based lifestyle, and binding our community together through service and shared purpose. This beautiful, climate-controlled venue is designed with an elegant, upscale aesthetic, making it the perfect setting for a diverse range of events including:

Upscale Dinner Benefits for the Cows: We will host sophisticated fundraising dinners, allowing guests to enjoy gourmet vegan cuisine while overlooking the sanctuary and supporting our vital work. Thankful Hearts and Hooves Community Meals: Continuing our commitment to Christian stewardship, we will use this space to provide free meals to families in need, a truly shared table where every meal is a blessing and a "pay it forward" initiative is encouraged by community donations. Educational Workshops & Gatherings: The space will serve as a hub for workshops on animal compassion, sustainable living, and faith-based compassion. The Nexus represents the next level for Asha's Farm Sanctuary—a physical manifestation of our vision for a more compassionate world. It is the center where our faith meets action, where animals and people gather to find hope, companionship, and food for the soul. This exciting transition builds on the success of our recent initiatives, including our established "Pay It Forward Community Dinner" program, which has already achieved a fantastic milestone by raising $10,000 in matched donations to support our community mission. A glimpse into a truly pure Kiss A Cow Day filled with joy! Watching everyone from INtandem build memorable connections with the animals and enjoying a delicious, complimentary plant-based buffet at The Nexus was absolutely beautiful. Our 3-course vegan lunch served on Sunday to the Dream Getaway Winners at The Nexus located at Asha's Farm Sanctuary!

Curated Vegan Menu

First Course: Strawberry Spinach Salad
Mixed Greens with spinach, strawberries, feta, maple glazed pecans, served with a blush wine vinaigrette.

Second Course: Spinach Ricotta Lasagna
Layers of baked lasagna noodles, cashew-tofu ricotta and spinach, and topped with marinara sauce. Served with red pepper and parmesan.

Third Course: Vanilla Strawberry Sundae
Vanilla Ice Cream on top of mini vanilla cakes and topped with strawberry preserves and whip cream. Served with fresh strawberries.

Another shoutout and thanks to PlantiePops and JetBlue for their very generous donation of flights to anywhere they serve!

On Sunday, we served the winners of our Dream Getaway at Asha's Farm Sanctuary! Included in the package for two were round trip flights to our sanctuary, hotel stay, and sanctuary experience with a 3-course vegan gourmet meal at The Nexus!

We would like to extend our sincerest thank you to PlantiePops and JetBlue for their extremely generous donation of flight tickets to anywhere they serve!

Looking for more things to do on July 4th? Come hang out with the herd! Because space is limited to 50 guests, pre-registration is required for everyone and we cannot accept walk-ins.

When: July 4th | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

All event proceeds go directly toward feeding the sanctuary cows. Here is how you can support the herd during your visit:

🥪 Delicious Vegan Lunch Options ($20)
-Focaccia Deli Sandwich: Layers of prosciutto, roasted red peppers, spinach and mozzarella with basil pesto
-Super Healthy Tofu Wrap: Crisp romaine, sprouts, carrots, and purple cabbage, and strips of tofu, served with thai peanut sauce on the side

All entrées are cold and pre-made and include dipping condiments and a side of cold pasta salad with chickpeas, black olives, and red peppers in vinaigrette.

🧁 Kid-Friendly Treats ($5)
-3-pack bundles of mini cupcakes (Chocolate or Vanilla)
-Pre-wrapped ice cream bars or cones

💳 How to Pay & Ordering Info
As we limited this day to 50 people, we don’t expect long lines. But just in case, Tracy, our founder, who’s running the counter, set up two easy ways to order:

QR Code: Scan the code at the counter to pay on your phone, then show Tracy your digital receipt.

Cash Tickets: Paying with cash? Grab a paper ticket at the counter, check off the items you want, and hand it to Tracy with your payment.

Tips to Support the Cows: Tips for Tracy's exceptional service are greatly appreciated—she is generously donating all of them directly to the cows!

Fully Accessible Facilities: Our visitor center, The Nexus, is completely handicapped accessible. We ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment inside The Nexus for individuals with all levels of mobility.

Inspiring Animal Interactions: Guests will meet rescued cows, including a blind cow, sheep and special needs ducks. These gentle interactions encourage kindness and compassion, helping to build acceptance and self-esteem.

Flexible Activities: Choose between relaxed, educational guided tours or meaningful, hands-on volunteer experiences.

A Delicious Meal: We will provide a nourishing, delicious plant-based meal for your group to enjoy together.

Our next Beyond the Plate Sanctuary Journey to meet the rescued cows is on Sunday, June 21, 2026! We’ll be serving our traditional 3-course Prix Fixe Vegan Menu that includes this delicious dish of Cheese Raviolis in Vodka Sauce with a splash of cream. Reservations are required and opening soon.

If you are experiencing financial hardship and in need, your gourmet vegan meal and sanctuary journey to experience the healing cows is completely free — no questions asked.
