For nearly a decade, our team at Pangea Kitchen and 2nd Language Ramen has worked to bring you delicious, new food options with the same foundational premise: no shortcuts. At Sazón y Fuego, our group’s first Latin American restaurant, you can expect the same standard of quality in every dish, which starts with authentic ingredients that are thoughtfully sourced. At Sazón y Fuego, you’ll find a variety of dishes curated from all over Latin America. From ceviche to savory steaks, each ingredient and recipe has been carefully curated by our team. Whether they are made traditionally or with a twist, each dish will be bursting with sabor, or flavor, that only a charcoal fire grill can bring. Originally from Nicaragua, Gina Videa has strengthened the Evansville community through her dedication to education, faith, service, and entrepreneurship. Through her work in admissions at the University of Southern Indiana, she has guided students as they pursue meaningful professional goals. Her involvement in Spanish-language Cursillo has also helped create opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship. As an accomplished business leader, Gina shares the vibrant flavors of Latin America through the celebrated restaurant Sazón y Fuego. Her leadership, generosity, and commitment to others make her a deserving recipient of the 2026 Orgullo Hispano Medal and an inspiring community role model.
