Need a rosé to help beat the heat this weekend? Solution: Mano Co***to Rosé of Pinot Noir! My buddy Aaron from Galaxy Wines beat cancer this past year and was inspired to help other families in the area during their own battles. He made this wine in collaboration with Bracken Vineyard and Walter Scott Winery, and all profits go to the Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation. Paying it forward never tasted so good! 💗

🐠Curious about tinned fish? Maybe a little intimidated? Come to my Tinned Fish Tasting event and try a wide variety and see what all the fuss is about! A ticket includes a taste of 9 different tinned fish, a variety of accompaniments, some educational materials and a tasting journal, and a glass of wine (or special NA bev if you prefer). Please call or email for a reservation so I can have everything prepared for your arrival. P.S. I’ll be open a little later on Friday 3/20 for reservations for the after work folks!

We’re definitely in the full swing of the Christmas season now! Things can get pretty busy here in the shop, so Sip While You Shop! The Christmas tasting series kicks off this Friday 12/19 with Atticus and Matzinger-Davies pouring from 12-3. First of all, yum! Secondly, they’re usually only available to taste by private tasting appointment! Finally, it’s FREE! 😋🍷🎄

Woo, September! A month of anniversaries for me! Not only does it contain my wedding anniversary and the anniversary of the shop opening (5 years on 9/1!), but last week marked 18 years since I began my professional journey in cheese. This isn’t just a passing fad for me; I care deeply about cheese, cheesemakers, preserving traditional foods, people eating with intention, and investing in our collective culinary joy, one plate at a time. Anthony Bourdain once said, “You have to be a romantic to invest yourself, your money, and your time in cheese.” So here’s to the past 18 romantic years. Thank you, Newberg, for being the best part of it all. ❤️🧀
